Products and Projects:
My strengths as a composer are as follows (in no particular order):
1. Commissions for concert band, strings, choir, chamber works, percussion ensemble, guitar ensemble, etc.
2. Marching Band Field Shows (with or without drill)
3. Show Choir arrangements
4. Church music: new settings, choral arrangements, for special events like weddings and funerals, etc.
5. More eclectic creative projects, as needed
6. Parade Letters
I’m not sure how to say this without sounding cliché, but here goes…
I will only be satisfied when you are completely satisfied, your ensemble is completely satisfied, and you have every last thing you need for a successful performance/season.
If you decide to work with me, here’s what you will receive:
1. A professional-looking score and all parts, written to your exact specifications
2. A MIDI recording (practice parts also available, and tablature available for guitar)
3. Rights to do whatever you want with the music and parts (print, put on Moodle/Google Classroom, double/switch instruments, adapt, amend, cut, etc.) BESIDES giving them to another school to perform, or selling them (thanks for your understanding!)
4. A person (namely, me) who is ready to assist with any cuts, changes, etc., to make it work for you and your group.

A few things to note:
During the Initial Consultation, I will speak with you about your program and your vision, and things that you and I could use for inspiration. I will then write up some sample music to see if you like any specific direction that the project might take (“Creative Pathways”). Once we decide on a concept, I will make a contract that will clarify the creative timeline, when you can expect specific elements to be completed, and what the final payment agreement is.
I understand that it can be challenging and circuitous to get POs, checks, etc., set in motion. I will only accept payment until after your project is completed in full and that you are totally satisfied with the project that I offer. I truly want to make it as special as possible for you, your students, and your program.
Please note that I write original music first, and I can include music from the Public Domain freely, if you’d like. I will only work with copyrighted music if it’s relatively easy to get the composer’s permission. Otherwise, I feel it’s best to leave copyrighted materials alone.
As much as I absolutely love show choir and thoroughly enjoy writing for voices and pit orchestras, I unfortunately do not offer any choreography as I don’t have a background in it (I have tried dancing before… it wasn’t pretty).
